Charles E. Johnson IV
Advisory Council
Bio
Charles E. Johnson, IV studied architecture in college and graduate school and spent 15 years working in architecture and construction before transitioning to secondary education. He now teaches mathematics and architecture at Delbarton School, an all-boys Catholic school in Morristown, NJ, where he begins his 16th year of teaching. Drawn to integrate ecotheology with technology education, he is pursuing a Master of Pastoral Studies at LIM with the hope of complementing his school’s Benedictine identity with Ignatian spirituality and formation practices. He brings to the Thomas Berry Project advisory council a commitment to holistic education, ecological awareness, and nurturing a contemplative relationship with the built and natural environments.
