Michelle Murray

Michelle Murray is a 2017 LIM graduate with a Master of Religious Education and a Ph.D. candidate in Philosophy, Cosmology, and Consciousness at California Institute of Integral Studies. Inspired by Thomas Berry and Brian Swimme, she teaches courses in the Religion and Ecology focus area at LIM, connecting cosmology, ecology, and education through a “pedagogy of the universe.” A lifelong advocate for inclusion, social justice, and environmental restoration, she co-founded The Center for Peace Through Understanding and is actively rewilding her family’s farmland. She brings a deep commitment to Berry’s “Great Work” and fostering an Ecozoic consciousness through education and community engagement.
